Meet Valerie Taloni,
Your Ghostwriter and Collaborator
About Valerie Taloni…
Writing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I was one of those kids who actually enjoyed writing thank-you notes. As an adult, I’ve actively sought out different types of writing opportunities: helping with a community newsletter; authoring articles for local business publications; writing a monthly newsletter for my clients… I even designed and wrote a course for the American Management Association.
Every once in a while I pondered the idea of writing a book. I hate to admit it, but this pondering probably went on for more than a decade. Becoming a published author was a captivating thought, but I had no idea as to the subject of a book I would write. Then, towards the end of 2008, the topic of my future book became crystal clear and in January 2009, “Write a book” was at the top of my goals list. I spent my summer writing a book on goal setting, and published Burn Your Wish List! How to Stop Hoping for the Best and Start Planning for Success as an eBook before the year was over. (I keep thinking I will edit my book and publish it on Amazon, but I’m busy writing my clients’ books instead.)
Now I’m thrilled to be helping others achieve their goal of becoming a published author. For me, it’s the best of all worlds: not only do I utilize my writing skills, but as a certified coach for the past fourteen years, I’m trained to listen deeply and ask the right questions, which is a boon to my book-writing clients when it comes to crystalizing their messages. Learning is one of the things that gets me out of bed in the morning, and because I work with all different types of clients, I’m constantly learning. And…I’m a great project manager. I always have been. Believe me, it takes top-notch project management skills to get a book written and published.
I live in beautiful, sunny Florida with my husband, Adam, and our two cats, Hugo and Louie. When I’m not writing, I enjoy designing and creating jewelry, cooking and gardening. Working out to stay fit and healthy has an important place in my life.
I look forward to chatting with you about your future book. Please feel free to get in touch with me anytime.
